
A Biography of The Brotherhood
A Brief History
Beck's Brotherhood was conceived and born in the spring of 2023. Spearheaded by vocalist and bass player, Keven "Kfunk" Beck, and drummer Mike Marsiglia. After several guitar auditions, the rhythm section found great band mates with slide man, Tim Herman, and lead guitar man, Joe Prussing.
Joe Prussing was later replaced by Kfunks long time friend, and guitar god Bart "The Bartman" Baker.
The concept is simple:
Create a band with a fresh approach to performing the best of the great rock tunes from every era and decade of rock history.
In Pursuit of that vision, , It became something greater than originally perceived.
A brotherly bond centered in sound. With each player having their own passion and taste of music. It is an honor, duty, and privilege for all the groove family to fulfill each others vision in song, which makes it fun and exciting for all. It is the pursuit of the perfect performance. It has been the tenacity, persistence, hard work, and celebration involved that has helped define this band... this friendship...

Keven "Kfunk" Beck
Lead Vocalist, Bass Player, Acoustic Guitar
Keven has been singing since the age of five and began playing bass at the age of twelve. He started playing in bands at the age of thirteen. Keven has performed in bands which have ranged from small acoustic acts, to heavy metal bands, from blues bands to national touring country bands.
Performing as a singer and bass player , Kfunk has learned not only to command a stage, but to influence the audience to truly contribute and take part of a special moment.
His love of all music and charismatic stage presence draws in the crowd, as he takes them on a musical journey. His performances show a certain humbleness, and happiness. He has a confidence that can persuade people to let down their guard and have a good time.

Bart "The Bart Man" Baker
Lead & Rhythm Guitar Vocals
Bart's passion for music began at an early age. He began classical training on the violin, cello, and standup bass in the first grade.
At 12 years old, he played his first guitar and never looked back.
Bart has been fortunate enough to share the stage with some of Florida's top local talent as well as Grammy-winning national recording artists on the road.
His natural ability, fluid solos, and rhythmic, engaging stage presence always leave the crowd smiling.
The Bartman also has a dominant strong baritone voice for singing lead, and harmonic backing vocals.

Mike Marsiglia
Drums, Percussion
Over the past 37 years, Mike has performed mostly heavy and classic rock genres, dispersing his percussive style at bars, clubs, private events, festivals, and theaters throughout the Treasure and Space Coasts of Florida.
In 1999, his studio endeavor with hard rock band, Dementia, landed him two tracks on a compilations CD entitled “Unsigned ’99” produced by Garudio Records/Table Nine Entertainment.
Since then, Mike has performed with well known cover bands such as Wit’s End, Johnny and the Blaze, Anderson Council, Stacy’s Soul, and currently, Beck's Brotherhood. As an attribute to his reputation, he has shared talents with locally known names such as Keven Beck, Johnny Herron, Steve Sanders, Stacy Jackson, Joey Vutano, and many more.
Mike will continue to stretch his touring and recording boundaries as far as his talent and passion will take him. This musically, is limitless.
Tim Herman
Rhythm, & Slide Guitar, Mandolin, Dobro
The love of music started for Tim Herman at a very young age. His two older brothers influence of 60’s & 70’s music gave Tim the interest to learn to play guitar. Other family members also played musical instruments which taught him different types of musical styles and genres.
Tim has played in bands most of his life. While living in the Midwest USA, his band Full House played classic rock ‘n roll music. The band, Full House, continued in California and extended the style of music played with southern rock, 80’s and 90’s music. While in California, Tim had the privilege to play with amazing musicians that influenced his skills and different styles.
After a move to the Pacific NW, his bands included Cabin Fever, NoSylynz, NW Outlaws, and Shakey Jake. During his time with NW Outlaws, he had the privilege to play with Ivan de Prume, drummer from White Zombie and Bazil (Mike Ternyik), the drummer for The Chad Williams Band.
In 2022, Tim moved to Florida where he is excited and proud to play the mandolin, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and slide guitar for Beck’s Brotherhood.
Tim is always personable, and eager to create new relationships. He is a true asset to any musical endeavor he encounters.
