
A Colossal Band Biography
A Brief History
Colossal was conceived ain January, 2026. Spearheaded by vocalist and bass player, Keven Beck, drummer Mike Marsiglia, andguitarist phenom Evan Colas (Chaka Kahn, & The Drifters are highlights to his history. Please refer to his Bio for more).
After several Keyboard auditions, the rhythm section found a great band mate, and outstanding musician, Seth Bernstein (multi faceted musician and vocalist. (Former keyboardist for The Michael Schenker Group).
These are are the primary musical elements that establish the core of a Colossal Band.
Colossal also has the ability to add an additional guitarist, or saxophone if preferred.
Colossal has a big sound that can cover several genres of music. This includes, rock, soul, funk, and progressive jams from Jeff Beck, Journey, The Neville Brothers, Styx, Steely Dan, Van Morrison, Elton John, Billy Joel, Train, Supertramp, David Bowie, and many, many more.

Keven "Kfunk" Beck
Lead Vocalist, Bass Player, Acoustic Guitar
Keven Beck has been singing since the age of five and began playing bass at the age of twelve. He started playing in bands at the age of thirteen.
Keven has performed in bands which have ranged from small acoustic acts, to heavy metal bands, from blues bands to national touring country & rock bands.
Performing as a singer and bass player , Kfunk has learned not only to command a stage, but to influence the audience to truly contribute and take part of a special moment.
His love of all music and charismatic stage presence draws in the crowd. He sings from his heart, and soul while showing a certain humbleness, and happiness. He has a confidence that can persuade people to let down their guard and let loose.

Evans "Colossal" Colas
Lead & Rhythm Guitarist, Backing Vocals
Evens Colas is an amazing songwriter with a flair for unique and emotion-packed music -- if you want the usual fare, move along!
A guitarist of over 35 years, he has played in more than 30 countries and worked with artists like Chaka Khan, The Drifters, Luther Vandross, Blue Magic, Warren Zevon, Rita Marley, Lucky Dube, Eek A Mouse, Dennis Brown, and many others.
Evens is a master at fusing different styles to create delicious new sounds, bringing us music in the Rock, Pop, Reggae, World, Fusion, Dramatic, Hip Hop, and Ambient genres. His clients include Harpo Entertainment, E!, Chevrolet, Bravo, MTV, The Dr Oz Show.

Mike Marsiglia
Drums, Percussion, Backing Vocals
With over 40 years of live performance experience, Mike Marsiglia is a seasoned percussionist and vocalist known for his versatility, energy, and commanding stage presence. His musical foundation spans funk, R&B, soul, Motown, heavy rock, and classic rock, allowing him to adapt seamlessly across genres while delivering powerful rhythmic drive and dynamic vocal support.
His ability to elevate live performances with tight percussion and strong harmonies has made him a respected and in-demand collaborator.
In 1999, Mike recorded with hard rock band Dementia, earning two tracks on the compilation CD Unsigned ’99, produced by Garudio Records/Table Nine Entertainment—marking a significant milestone in his recording career.
He has performed with notable regional acts most currently, Colossal. Over the years, he has shared the stage with respected local musicians such as Keven Beck, Evens Colas, Seth Berstein, Johnny Herron, Stacy Jackson, and Joey Vutano.
Driven by passion and professionalism, Mike continues to expand his touring and recording endeavors. His dedication to his craft and commitment to musical excellence ensure that his artistic journey remains boundless.
Set Bernstain
Lead and Backing Vocals, Piano, Synth, Keys, Guitar
Seth grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, where his early passion for music led him to piano, guitar, bass, drums and singing.
At the age of 20 he moved to Phoenix, Arizona with his rock band to be closer to the west coast music scene.
While playing in two successful working cover bands and teaching music, he was presented with the opportunity to play and tour with renowned rock guitarist Michael Schenker of The Scorpions, UFO, and MSG (Michael Schenker Group).
After touring the US, Japan and Europe, Seth returned to Phoenix and recorded his first original solo album entitled "Pictures".
A few years later he decided to leave the desert and move to beautiful Sebastian, Florida in 2005.
While settling back into teaching and writing music, he formed the band Nightfly and went on to record another full-length original album produced by Pat Bautz, drummer of the legendary band Three Dog Night.
Seth is still currently teaching and playing all styles of music in various venues to larger concerts.
